Sending faxes via email is a simple process; just email our fax servers, follow a certain format, and voila! Your fax is sent. The format is extremely simple to follow, and anyone who can send an email can send a fax this way. Let’s say that the number you intend to send a fax to is “0290123456”. Simply send an email to 0290123456@fax.telecube.com.au and your fax will be sent!
It is important that you are sending the faxes from your proper email address. You can make an email address an authorised email address in your account by going to the web control, and then going to the “Add New” spot. Once your email is listed as an authorised email address, you can send a fax! This way you can either have an email account dedicated to sending faxes, or you can link your regular email address so you don’t need to switch accounts every time you want to send a fax.
When it comes to the contents of the fax, you can either write your fax in the body of the email, or you can attach a .PDF file. If there is no attachment, the body of the email will become the fax, but if there is an attachment, then that will be used instead. With .PDF files you can have a lot more customization in how your fax will look.
Not only is this an easy process, it is also highly affordable. There is a 4.9 cent per minute fee, with no connection fee. On average, one page would take anywhere from 30-40 seconds to send, which works out to approximately 3 cents.
